It is every bride’s dream to be the most beautiful version of herself on her wedding day – from wearing the most magical gown to having flawless make-up, perfectly coiffed hair and immaculate manicures and pedicures.

As the day approaches,  amidst the many things that need to get done, it is important to take a step back, breathe and relax to ensure that your skin is well rested and glowing as you walk down the aisle.

Here are 3 basic skincare tips to achieve radiant skin for your big day:

1. Refrain from Trying Any New Products

In the weeks leading up to the big day, the pull from the miraculous claims of a new skin product can be tempting. However, you never know how your skin will react to a new product, and with just weeks from the wedding, there may not be enough time to rectify any bad reactions.

Stick to what you know works and it’ll all turn out great.

2. Get all Facial Treatments Done  a Week Before

Remember that  big, angry zit that erupts right after a facial? Or the swollen eyebrows after a particularly zealous threading and tweezing session? Getting facial treatments too soon before the wedding can cause your skin to be red and sensitive, and your wedding make-up may need to be heavier than desired to compensate.

3. Be Diligent

Rome wasn’t built in a day. A last minute attempt cannot bring about bright, clear skin. It  is the result of long-term effort and care. Ask anyone around you with skin you admire- you’ll find that they are diligent in maintaining a daily skincare routine that works for them.

Follow these tips and you will be on your way to being a glowing, blushing bride.

Glamourously yours,
